Ir. Achmad Zubaidi

Ir. Achmad Zubaidi, M. Tech is the Head of Dam Safety Unit of Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Indonesia. He is also the member of Indonesian National Committee on Large Dams (INACOLD) as the Chairman of Dam Registration and Documentation. His working experience started in 1994 when he joined the Bengawan Solo River Project as the Supervisor of Pondok Dam’s construction in Ngawi East Java. Later, he joined the Dam Safety Unit as a Dam Engineer and Section Head of Data and Information and before his current post, he has joined the Ciliwung Cisadane River Organization as Head of Planning and Programming Division. Academically, Ir. Zubaidi obtained the S1 degree in Water Resources Engineering from University of Brawijaya, Malang, East Java in 1993 and later pursued the M.Tech degree in Water Resources Development from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India in 2002.
